About the Craftsman
I realized my love for woodworking during high school with a company that refurbished vintage mahogany Chris Craft boats. After my experience in boat refurbishing, I acquired several different woodworking and remodeling jobs that left me aching to be creative in this medium that I love. In my college years, I became interested in learning more and more about the different aspects of woodworking and design. This led me to study: architecture, interior design, drafting, in addition to construction management.
While still pursuing my degree, I decided to expand my horizons and study more about the design and construction of artistic furniture. I attended the Marc Adams School of Woodworking (MASW), the largest (and best) hands-on woodworking school in North America, where I earned a Master Woodworker Certificate. The Master's program at MASW is the most recognizable and credible woodworking certificate program in America. In order to achieve this, I had extensive studies in joinery, veneering, finishing, design, embellishments, furniture and chair making, business instruction and many other woodworking techniques. These classes are taught by experts, who are the best in their field. I took many more classes throughout the years in different mediums, embellishments, techniques, and artistic styles.
Today, I work in my studio every day, building beautiful pieces for my clients. I also try to squeeze speculative pieces in between client work to satisfy the creative ideas constantly flowing through my brain.
I find considerable gratification in designing pieces that bring great pleasure to my clients. I try to extract ideas from them of what they are trying to accomplish and provide unique and beautiful solutions to meet their needs. I look forward to working with you to make your environment more enjoyable to live in.
